Battery or USB powered this device's small size and lightweight design are as a brilliant as a hotel room speaker for tunes on your travels. You can run the tube on 4 AAA batteries, but when powered by USB, the speaker will recharge a docked iPod - as long as it's a nano (including the new range), 30GB iPod with video, 80GB iPod classic or the iPod touch.
