Let me know when back in stock
The new Nintendo DSi console will be released on 3rd April 2009. This is an upgraded version of the popular Nintendo DS Lite console.
Whilst these consoles are popular with parents to keep children occupied, the compact nature of the DS game cartridges often infuriates when the original cartridges get lost.
Whilst the Nintendo DSi is backwards compatible with the Nintendo DS, it does mean that there is still the same risk of kids losing the games cartridges. Step forward the R4 Revolution Adapter Card for the Nintendo DS!!
The R4 adapter is a mini electronic marvel matching the size of an original game cartridge, but it also accepts flash card memory, allowing you to determine what is loaded to it .. depending upon the size of the card, this could be dozens of backed up games eliminating the need to swap game cartridges forever.
Unfortunately, whilst the DSi is backwardly compatible with the games, the same is not true of the original and much-loved R4 Adapter which was designed for the DS.
However, there is a new version available now: the R4i Adapter for Nintendo DSi. This cartridge will work in exactly the same way as the original R4 adapter for the Nintendo DS, but is re-engineered to work with the new Nintendo DSi.
The ingenious R4i DSi adapter means you can watch movies, play music, browse your pictures, read E-Books, transfer files from your computer as well as the opportunity to run Homebrew (often free) software.
Now you really can use your DSi to the fullest extent possible and with one tiny R4i adapter.
