These AV cables have three cores: one for composite video (colour-coded with yellow plugs) and left and right audio (colour-coded black and red).

The standard phono plugs are moulded and have gold-coloured connections. The video cable has a slightly larger cross-section than the others.

This cable has many uses hooking up AV equipment such as cameras, DVD players, TVs, editing systems, CCTV systems etc.
